My wife and I had lived in Vancouver all our lives, so our move to Kingston was a huge and stressful undertaking. How fortunate we were to acquire John and Bill Maas as our builders.
Our lot was chosen and ground broken for our new home in March, 2006. Our one visit during construction was in May, when we were able to choose our finishings, purchase appliances and get a feel for the physical layout of our home. Contact was constant throughout the construction when clarification seemed necessary to either party.
In our long distance communications about changes in the plan, the Maas' were always amenable to our thoughts, and all the changes turned out beautifully. Our home in Vancouver sold quickly, so the Maas' worked diligently to ensure we were able to take possession the day we arrived in our moving truck, September 1st. We were astounded when we did the walk through. Our home was perfect!

Last year (2006), we undertook a major project with our new home. Following a meeting iwth Mr. Bill Maas of John Maas Builder Ltd. and subsequent reference checks, the decision was an easy one to work with John Maas Builder Ltd.
Projects of this size and nature can be a very stressful and disruptive process, especially with four young children involved. However, we found the attitude and approach by John Maas Builder Ltd. and their employees to be very respectful and attentive to our family's needs.
